About Gracious Living ADHCC

 

Gracious Living ADHCC's mission is to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life for those we serve (from 18 years old to 120 years of age) through a caring, stimulating, therapeutic and enjoyable environment.

Dementia Practitioner, Michele Allgood, faced a life-changing decision after her mother, Marilyn, suffered a massive stroke. In her quest for quality home health care, Michele found it challenging to find the consistency and expertise she needed. Ultimately, she chose to leave her corporate career to care for her mother, realizing that they both needed more fulfillment and connection in their lives. This ignited a passion for creating better care solutions for families in similar situations. Gracious Living ADHCC was created.

 

Gracious Living Adult Day and Health Care has been dedicated to providing exceptional care since its opening in 2013. Initially located in a 1,700 sq. ft. space within the Novant Building at 17220 Northcross, the facility expanded in 2018 to a larger location at 16630 Northcross. After facing the challenges of imminent domain, Gracious Living relocated to 9920 Kincey Ave in Huntersville and continued to thrive. In 2023, the organization proudly expanded further by adding two new locations in Charlotte and Pineville, reinforcing its commitment to the community with quality adult day and health care services.
